Founded in 1891, the Association is now one of the most prominent numismatic organizations in the world. While its permanent headquarters are located in Colorado Springs, its flagship event, the World’s Fair of Money, dynamically changes location each year, visiting America’s major metropolises.
This year, the numismatic elite gathers in Pittsburgh – a city celebrated for its unique atmosphere, rich industrial heritage, and the title of the “City of Bridges.”
Interestingly, Pittsburgh is one of the historic heartlands of American numismatics, where local collector clubs flourished even before the nationwide ANA was officially established in 1891! At Germania Mint, we love celebrating such milestones. For us, Pittsburgh’s bridges became the ultimate source of inspiration. A bridge is not merely a piece of architecture; it is a beautiful symbol – a link uniting the rich history of numismatics with modern design.
That is why we proudly present two products created specially for this year's edition of the World’s Fair of Money, both carrying this exceptional motif in their DNA.
2026 Germania 1 oz Silver BU – ANA Edition (Mintage: 500 pcs)
We proudly present the enhanced edition of this year’s Germania coin, created especially for the World’s Fair of Money. Ennobled with gold and ruthenium, this exclusive release gains remarkable depth while emphasizing the majestic presence of Queen Germania. The edition is further distinguished by a Privy Mark on the obverse depicting a bridge – specifically Pittsburgh’s most famous bridge – which serves as the visual heart and most recognizable symbol of this year’s host city.

Obverse: The obverse portrays Germania seated on her throne as the undisputed ruler of her realm. In one hand she holds a sword, representing strength and readiness to defend her people; in the other, a shield symbolizing protection and independence. A royal crown adorns her head, replacing the laurel wreath featured in previous releases and marking a new chapter in the history of the Germania series. She is accompanied by two black ravens – Odin’s faithful messengers, guardians of ancient secrets, and embodiments of wisdom.

Reverse: The reverse remains unchanged, featuring the majestic double-headed eagle – the enduring emblem of the Germania series and a representation of strength, independence, and heritage.

Packaging: The coin is presented in a Blisterpack with a Certificate of Authenticity and a special event cover. The Blisterpack is crafted from high-quality paper, providing an elegant presentation that enhances the coin’s collectible appeal. Modern printing techniques and a wide range of premium finishing options have been used to create a refined design tailored specifically for this special edition.
Germania Mint Gold Minted Bar 1 g ANA 2026 (Mintage: 2,500 pcs)
Our second release is a one-gram gold bar made of fine 999.9 gold, sourced as always from LBMA-accredited suppliers. This one-gram gold bar is presented in a commemorative Safepack created to celebrate the World’s Fair of Money – one of the most important events in the numismatic industry, organized by the American Numismatic Association.
This year’s edition takes place in Pittsburgh, and the Safepack design pays tribute to the host city by featuring one of its iconic bridges, a symbol of Pittsburgh’s distinctive architecture. It makes for a valuable, timeless keepsake from this great numismatic celebration.
