Our roots date back to 1986, when the company started its journey as Kurowski Group, eventually evolving from a small numismatic store into an industry leader in coin production, premium packaging, and investment products. The year 2026 marks a very special milestone for us - a grand celebration of our 40 years of #Legacy, which we have planned so that every month brings something truly extraordinary.
The main stage for launching our anniversary celebrations was the industry’s most prestigious international event – the World Money Fair in Berlin. It was there, amidst intense preparations and meetings with partners from all corners of the globe, that we proudly announced the celebration of our 40-year heritage. The anniversary logo “Germania Mint Legacy since 1986” officially made its debut across our exhibition stands and newest catalogs. The celebration at the fair was accompanied by another milestone – the launch of our completely new, refreshed website. This platform perfectly reflects our new vision, dynamic evolution, and the direction we are heading in the future.
As part of these year-long celebrations, we have already given the floor to our artists – you could follow the fascinating dialogues and behind-the-scenes interviews with Natalia, Mateusz, and Kinga. Now, it is time for the next chapter of our celebration: the presentation of “The Icons”. We have selected four of the most significant coins that defined our brand and best demonstrate how we continually push the boundaries of numismatic artistry. We chose three of them based on our own perspective and historical milestones, while the choice of the fourth one was placed entirely in your hands.
Germania: The birth of a legend
This is where our adventure as an official mint truly began. The release of the 2019 Germania: 1 oz Silver BU coin was a defining turning point. We introduced our original personification of Germania to the world – a beautiful woman, strong, proud, and full of dignity. This initial release defined our unique visual language: a harmonious blend of historical symbolism and modern premium aesthetics. The enthusiastic reception of this issue initiated a global community of collectors around Germania Mint and proved that investment silver can possess unique artistic value.

Maltese Bee: the numismatic “Oscar”
Every true icon must have a spectacular success under its belt. For us, that is the 2024 Malta Maltese Bee 10 Euro 2 oz Silver BU High Relief coin, created in partnership with the Central Bank of Malta. In developing a modern interpretation of the original 1972 monetary tradition, Natalia Danysz focused on a unique shape, high relief, and an uncompromising, meticulous craftsmanship regarding the honey bee’s anatomy. The result? The coin received the prestigious 2025 Coin of the Year Award in the Best Crown Coin category.
Winning this "numismatic Oscar" proved that a company from Jelenia Góra can set the trends and dictate the terms on the global market.
Fafnir: innovation without limits
The Germania Beasts: Fafnir Ultra Double High Relief 2 oz Silver BU coin represents an absolute technological breakthrough. While we had already specialized in coin ennobling services for years, it was this specific release that debuted our spectacular, proprietary Chameleon effect – a specialized coating that makes the dragon’s skin and scales shimmer in different purple-green colors depending on the incident light. Furthermore, Fafnir introduced the revolutionary Geminus coin system to numismatics – a rare concept where two separate displays compose an integral part. The dragon’s body was created in a way where the two parts placed on the obverse and reverse together create an image in the shape of an infinity sign.
To fully appreciate this, we created the revolutionary infinity capsule, allowing collectors to experience these numismatic items from a completely new perspective.
Mjölnir: The Icon chosen by the fans
The final step in building our list of icons belonged entirely to you – in a special social media post, we asked you to nominate the fourth coin. Your verdict was unanimous: the 2025 Artefacts: Mjölnir 2 oz Silver BU UHR.
This exceptional coin is the second release in the unique Artefacts series, depicting the invincible, legendary hammer of Thor. Its massive popularity was undoubtedly boosted by modern pop culture and cinematic superhero hits, where Mjölnir faithfully stood by the side of the god of thunder. However, collectors fell in love with the pure craftsmanship that Mateusz Frąckowiak put into this design.
The astonishing amount of intricate details, rich ornamental decorations, and deeply struck Germanic runes surrounding the entire relief instantly turned Mjölnir into an elite market hit.
The presentation of these four Icons is merely one stage of our jubilee celebrations.
