Coin grading – Trust the experts

In response to the growing interest from collectors and investors in certified coins, Germania Mint is proud to present our latest offering of coins from the Germania 2025 series, subjected to the grading process in collaboration with European Coin Company (ECC). Through this cooperation, Germania Mint coins gain additional value, confirmed by international standards.
What is coin grading?
Grading is a detailed process of assessing the condition of a coin, conducted by professional numismatic companies. During this process, coins are thoroughly examined and classified according to the Sheldon scale, which allows assessing their quality from 1 to 70. The highest rating on this scale indicates a perfect condition of the coin (Perfect), without any flaws, with full mint luster.
After evaluation, the coins are sealed in special protective capsules, called slabs. Such packaging not only protects the coins from external factors, such as moisture or scratches but also serves as a confirmation of their authenticity and quality.
Why invest in graded coins?
- Certainty of authenticity: Every coin graded by ECC is thoroughly verified, eliminating the risk of purchasing counterfeits.
- Protection and durability: Slab packaging protects the coins from damage, preserving their perfect condition for many years.
- Credibility: Grading makes it easier for collectors and investors worldwide to assess the coins, which translates into greater liquidity in the numismatic market.
- Increased market value: Coins with higher grading scores are more desirable and can achieve higher prices on the market.
The transparency and trust offered by grading are key for anyone looking to secure their investment while enjoying the beauty of perfectly preserved numismatics.
