We will soon reveal the “Artefacts” series, consisting of five coins dedicated to magical items from Germanic mythology. The first coin in this series is the Gjallarhorn – the legendary horn of Heimdall, made of pure silver, used to summon gods to the battlefield during Ragnarok. This extraordinary coin is a tribute to the rich Germanic tradition and mythology.
In response to numerous requests from our collectors, the “Mythical Forest” series returns with its final coin – Yggdrasil. This magical coin depicts the Tree of Odin, Yggdrasil, home to various worlds in Norse mythology. The squirrel Ratatosk, traveling around the tree, symbolizes eternal communication between worlds.
Another novelty from Germania Mint in the first half of 2024 is the “Ragnarök” series, consisting of five coins. Each depicts different scenes from the mythological end of the world – Ragnarök. The first coin in this series shows the mythical wolves Sköll & Hati, related to Fenrir, chasing the Sun and Moon. The moment they capture them heralds the arrival of the end of the world.
