The obverse
On the obverse, the Three Sisters are depicted at the foot of Yggdrasil in a characteristic pose, known from three coins – 2026 Norns: Urd 1 oz Silver BU, 2026 Norns: Werdanda 1 oz Silver BU, and 2026 Norns: Skuld 1 oz Silver BU.
The reverse
The reverse features the Germania Mint double-headed eagle surrounded by the roots of Yggdrasil and golden threads of fate, partially broken, symbolizing both the influence of the past and the possibility of shaping the future.
In the shadow of Yggdrasil’s vast roots, whispers can be heard. The Norns – three ancient seeresses of giant lineage – wove and guarded the fate of all existence: Urd, Werdanda, and Skuld – Past, Present, and Future.
Each day, they spun golden threads of life. From their weaving emerged human destinies – delicate, sometimes tangled, and at times cut by the blades of their shears. The Norns appeared at birth to grant a name and destiny, and at death to sever the thread, ending the soul’s journey through the earthly world.
The coin featuring the three sisters, the Norns, has been ennobled with ruthenium and silver, and is available in a mintage of 90 pieces as part of the Germania Mystery Box.
Packaging
