The fight between good and evil continues. The Golden Eagle bullion coin series continues in 2024 as a cooperation between Central Bank of Malta and Germania Mint. The coin has almost the same design as in previous year. There’s a powerful Golden Eagle fighting a tricky serpent, showing the battle between good and temptation. The background has sea waves, pointing to the Mediterranean Sea where Malta is.
On the other side of the 2024 Malta Golden Eagle 5 Euro 1 oz Silver BU coin, you see Malta’s coat of arms surrounded by a wreath inspired by a painting in Valletta’s Grand Master’s Palace. Around it are branches of olive and palm, symbols of peace. Lily flowers stand for majesty and glory, and roses show purity and harmony.
